I am a self-employed garden designer working pre-dominantly on domestic gardens in Hertfordshire.
I like to use natural materials, including stone and timber as much as possible. My planting style is contemporary, including grasses and perennials, and aims to promote biodiversity. Such plants look really good against the beauty of natural stone.
I have used sandstone, basalt and limestone in gardens, and also explored the use of chestnut. I like to use materials in new and interesting ways.
